There is an increasing trend of people jumping into the area of forex trading for the past few years and in fact it looks like it is going to be increasing for the next few years to come. This is due to people wanting to bring in extra income that can eventually help them to get rid of their 9 to 5 job. At the same time, there are also numerous people who are leaving the bandwagon with a grumpy face after losing several thousands of their hard earned money in trading forex.
So is it possible for anyone to trade forex for a living?
This is often one of the most popular question for new traders who wanted to quit their day job hoping to trade currency for a living.
Therefore I want to share with you more about how I manage to become a full time traders working from home at my own pace.

1) Man your forex trading like your own business. It is only with this mindset that you will ever be able to make it in forex trading. Forex trading is like a subject in your school whereby you need to spend some time and effort to pick up the tricks and knowledge. It is in fact a must for anyone who is interested in trading forex for a living to put in some time to learn the technique of forex and how to trade it properly. This is the number one killer of new traders as they usually fall for the thinking that forex trading is a way to quick money and not a business.
Especially when you are starting out new in this arena, you tend to go into live trading without a trading strategy on hand. This shows that most people never treat forex trading seriouly as a business. In fact I am one of these people when I first started trading forex and I lost ,400 within my first few weeks of trading.
The forex market seems to be going against me until one day I decided to cool down and think whether I should continue to trade forex for a living that I realise the importance of treating forex as a business and not a hobby.
2) The greedy mindset of traders is often a fatal move as it tends to lure traders to make early entry that get stop out pretty often. There will be times when you will find yourself exiting a position without giving your winning a chance to have a full run as you are worried that the price may move back anytime.
Not allowing your profit to run full is simply wasting the full potential of a correctly taken trade. This is something that is not desirable among traders.
A good example to show the failure mentality of most traders is the failure to trade with your trading strategy. When I am new to trading, I often enter a trade before I get a trend line break which ended up with a loss as the price bounce off the trend line instead of breaching it. You must not allow this to become one of your trading habits.
